I'm usually someone who looks on the bright side of things, who has a comforting word and an idea or two to turn a messy situation around. But lately, I feel too tired to attempt being cheerful. It might be because I'm sick or run ragged from this challenge or because around Christmas everyone has expectations of you. It's almost freeing to say "sometimes things just suck and you have to keep going regardless" without putting a positive spin on it. This sort of hopeless mood luckily only accounts for about 0.5% of my overall life view. So this too shall pass and I'll watch funny youtube videos in the meantime to cope.
