You might know that I‘m not the biggest fan of the german language and if I wouldn‘t have grown up with it I would never have bothered learning it. Alas, German has some pretty neat words that express a sentiment so clearly that I haven‘t found the equal in another language yet. „Fernweh“ is one of those. You‘d translate it to pain that you have for the Far Away. A longing to travel and the unknown. A restlessness of sorts that keeps you moving towards new horizons. Have you felt „Fernweh“ recently?
