...Is something I tend to say often whenever I lose my train of thought or struggle for too long to find the right word. My mind is a jumble of German and English phrases and now I'm dumping Korean into the mix as well? I love, love, LOVE learning Korean and being able to speak in multiple languages soon (my school french never did count I'm afraid) gives me goosebumps. But sometimes you get confused, sentence structures don't make sense in the language you are speaking them in and some things just can't be translated one to one no matter how hard you try. So I give myself permission to get things wrong and not beating myself up for stopping to talk in the middle of a sentence to regroup and organize my thoughts.
I want to be able to hold a decent conversation by the time I travel to Seoul in 2019 and I'll only achieve that goal if I allow myself to make mistakes and practice, practice, practice. So I will be talking to myself a lot, cramming every day and trying to meet my vocabulary goal each week.
